Veryday is one of the top-ranking design consultancies in the world. We have an impressive track record for design that has helped build successful business for its clients, including LG, Microsoft, GE Healthcare, 3M, Spotify, BabyBjörn and IKEA. Veryday was founded in 1969 and is part of McKinsey & Company since Nov 2016. Through this partnership we continue to drive impact on a global scale and to serve our market sectors with the full spectrum of technology, business and design. In 2014, the company’s 45-years success story was honored with the highest distinction in the design word, the “Red Dot: Design team of the year”. Based on deep people insights, our designers are creating innovative solutions through products and services in the physical and digital worlds, to enhance quality of life.

We are now looking for several Senior UX Designers. This position is located in Bromma, Stockholm.

What you will do

You’ll work with developing products and services for a wide variety of clients, creating everything from rapid concept designs to delivering digital products ready for implementation.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams including Design Strategists, Visual Designers, Developers, and Researchers to ensure that all aspects of a user’s experience are managed. You will get the opportunity to work with international client teams in a fast-paced environment, sometimes in joint project teams together with McKinsey colleagues.

In project teams, you’ll be the lead UX designer, directing junior designers, managing multiple work streams and client expectations. You’ll be responsible for setting the design strategy and direction, ensuring alignment with overall project scope. You’ll play a leading role, collaborating with others, in all stages of the design process, from planning and coordinating, participating in research and analyzing user requirements, to creating design concepts and developing prototypes.

You’ll conceptualize, develop, and track user experiences from early concepts to prototypes and specifications. You will produce, evaluate and ensure design stories and wireframes are done with precision and provide great value to our clients.

You'll effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale both verbally and visually while working with teams to help bring products to market.

As a Senior UX designer, you will contribute to developing Veryday’s and our client’s thought leadership (e.g. through public speaking, writing).
