We are now looking to expand our family with a Staffing & Professional Development Coordinator who will be responsible for administrating the staffing and professional development process, and coordinate project assignments for our designers.


What you will do

As our Staffing & Professional Development Coordinator you will coordinate the full range of daily staffing activities for our designers, and be the primary contact for staffing related questions in close collaboration with the Veryday leadership, designers, and HR Manager. In some cases you will coordinate staffing globally for our designers. Your main focus is staffing, but you will also support other professional development and people related tasks.  

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for administering the staffing process and maintaining an accurate overview of staffing opportunities availabilities
  • Be aware of the project requirements and preferences, as well as individual designer’s semi annual review recommendations, preferences and restrictions.
  • Develop a relationship with each consultant and gain an understanding of the individual’s aspirations, experience, strengths, development needs, and relevant personal circumstances
  • Build a strong, trust-based relationship with all leaders. Make sure leaders share key information relevant to staffing decisions: inquiry status, skills needed, team structure, fees, office priorities, client requests, etc.
  • Follow the semi annual review process and outcome
  • Be able to present an accurate picture of office demand and supply within the team. Gradually develop a holistic view on client priorities and designer developments and to make appropriate recommendations on staffing decisions.

  • Passion for people and professional development
  • Experiece from similar or related roles (staffing/coordinating/project planning)
  • A non-hierarchical approach; the flexibility and ability to build consensus, and also be able to stand firm on decisions when needed
  • Strong drive to manage processes efficiently
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills; strong influencing capabilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and conflicting circumstances when needed
  • Strong integrity, maturity and fairness in dealing with people and confidential information.
  • Good project management skills to lead and structure thinking and work, ability to multitask, and track record of strong demonstrated leadership
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ideally human resource or consulting background; knowledge of McKinsey or other design firms is a strong plus.
